Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pavictek Digital Ltd ("Lumbyte", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when schools, staff, students, and parents use the Lumbyte Edu platform.
Information we collect
To operate the platform, we collect information provided by schools during onboarding and by users during normal use, including:
- Account information: name, email, phone number, role, and school affiliation.
- Academic records: grades, attendance, class assignments, and report cards, entered by school staff.
- Billing information: fee and payment records processed through our payment partners (Bachs).
- Usage data: basic technical logs used for security and reliability.
How we use information
We use collected information to provide and improve the platform, generate results and reports, enable parent and teacher communication, process payments, and maintain the security of every school's data.
Data ownership and access
Each school owns its own student and academic data. Data is isolated per school (per "tenant") within our systems, and school administrators control who on their staff can access it.
Data storage and security
Data is stored on infrastructure we manage directly, encrypted in transit via HTTPS, with regular backups. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.
Third parties
We share information only with the service providers necessary to run the platform — payment processors (Bachs), cloud storage, and email/SMS delivery — and only to the extent needed to provide those services.
Your rights
Schools and individual users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data by contacting us at the email below, subject to academic record-keeping requirements.
